Pro Teleprompter. Pay Once.

ScriptRoll is the teleprompter built by a communications coach who was tired of vague speed sliders and $100-a-year subscriptions. Exact WPM. Clean recording. Works on every Apple device you own.

Teleprompters shouldn't charge rent.

Every major teleprompter app has moved to subscriptions. $10 a month. $99 a year. $159 for "lifetime." All for what is fundamentally scrolling text.

ScriptRoll is built by a professional communications coach who uses teleprompters every week — and teaches other leaders how to use them. It's priced like a tool, not a service. You buy it once. It runs on your iPhone, your iPad, and your Mac. You own it.

Built around what speakers actually need.

Exact WPM speed control

Every other app gives you a slider and wishes you luck. ScriptRoll lets you type your target words-per-minute. If your pace is 145, you enter 145 and the scroll matches. Frame-accurate timing using CADisplayLink.

Final Draft (.fdx) import

Bring in real scripts, not plain text. ScriptRoll auto-detects speakers and assigns each one a distinct color, so multi-voice dialogue and interviews are easy to follow at a glance.

Clean on-camera recording

The camera sits behind the scrolling text so your eye line stays right with the lens. The recorded video file contains zero text pixels — it's captured by the camera, not screen-recorded.

One price, every device

Universal Purchase. Write the script on Mac, rehearse on iPad, record on iPhone. One app, one purchase, every Apple device you already own.

Mirror mode for hardware rigs

Using a beam splitter or a pro teleprompter rig? Flip the script with one tap. Works on every device and every orientation.

Private by design

No accounts. No analytics. No AI service calls. Your scripts live on your device and sync through your personal iCloud account — which only you can access.

Made for anyone who reads to an audience.

Content creators Record video to camera with the words in your line of sight — not on a second screen across the room.
Pastors & speakers Deliver a message with warmth. No subscription, no login, no surprises on Sunday morning.
Coaches & trainers Run virtual sessions with your script steady on the iPad next to the camera.
Journalists & broadcasters Read to camera at a professional pace, with speaker color coding for interviews and roundtables.
Corporate presenters Nail the quarterly review. Script lives on Mac, prompter runs on iPad, recording captured on iPhone.
Educators & course creators Record take after take at a consistent pace. Clean video every time, no text burned in.

One honest price.

Straight answers.

Is this really a one-time purchase?

Yes. One price. No subscription. No in-app upsells. You buy ScriptRoll once on the App Store and it unlocks on every Apple device signed in to your Apple ID.

Does the recorded video have the teleprompter text in it?

No. The camera and the on-screen text are two separate rendering pipelines. The video file contains only what the camera sensor captured — your face, clean and usable, with nothing burned in.

What file types can I import?

Plain text, rich text (.rtf), and Final Draft (.fdx). You can pull files in from iCloud Drive, Google Drive, OneDrive, Dropbox, or any storage service that integrates with the Apple Files app — no extra logins required.

Does it sync across my devices?

Yes. Scripts sync through your personal iCloud account using Apple CloudKit. The developer never sees your data — only your own devices can read your scripts.

Does it use AI to rewrite or analyze my scripts?

No. ScriptRoll is a teleprompter, not an AI tool. It doesn't send your script anywhere, summarize it, or run it through a language model. It just scrolls the words you wrote at the pace you chose.

Can I use it with a beam splitter or hardware rig?

Yes. Mirror mode flips the script horizontally with a single tap, so reflected text reads correctly on any pro prompter setup. On Mac, you can also send the prompter to an external display.

What platforms does it run on?

iPhone (iOS 17+), iPad (iPadOS 17+), and Mac (macOS 14 Sonoma+). One Universal Purchase covers all three.

A teleprompter that respects your time — and your wallet.

Buy once. Use forever. Skip the subscription treadmill and own the tool.
