ScriptRoll Terms of Use
The terms that govern your use of ScriptRoll for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Please read these carefully before using the app.
Effective date: April 15, 2026
1. Agreement
By downloading, installing, or using ScriptRoll (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not install or use the App. These terms are between you and Dwayne Riner Coaching (the "Developer"). They are in addition to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement, which also governs your use of any app purchased through the App Store.
2. License
The Developer grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the App on any Apple device you own or control, consistent with Apple's Universal Purchase and App Store terms. You may not rent, lease, sub-license, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the App except as permitted by applicable law.
3. Your content
Scripts, folders, recordings, and any other content you create or import with ScriptRoll ("Your Content") belong to you. The Developer does not claim ownership of Your Content and has no access to it. Your Content is stored on your device and, if enabled, synced through your own iCloud account. You are solely responsible for Your Content and for maintaining your own backups.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ScriptRoll to:
- Record any person without their knowledge or consent where such consent is legally required.
- Violate any applicable law or the rights of any third party, including copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights.
- Import, display, or record content that is unlawful, defamatory, or infringing.
- Interfere with the security or integrity of the App or any Apple service it relies on.
5. Purchase and pricing
ScriptRoll is sold as a one-time Universal Purchase through the Apple App Store. A single purchase unlocks the App on iPhone, iPad, and Mac for the same Apple ID, subject to Apple's Universal Purchase policies. All purchases, refunds, and billing are handled exclusively by Apple and are governed by Apple's terms. The Developer cannot issue refunds directly.
6. iCloud, permissions, and third-party services
ScriptRoll uses Apple's SwiftData and CloudKit frameworks to optionally sync Your Content through your iCloud account, and uses Apple's camera, microphone, Photos, and document-picker APIs for recording and import features. Use of these services is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policy. The Developer is not responsible for outages, data loss, or sync failures caused by Apple services or by your device's configuration.
7. Beta and external testing
If you are using ScriptRoll through TestFlight or another pre-release channel, you understand that the App is provided for testing purposes, may contain bugs, may be changed or discontinued, and may not represent the final product. You agree to provide feedback only through the channels the Developer designates and not to publicly distribute or review pre-release builds.
8. No warranty
ScriptRoll is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. The Developer does not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data will be preserved or synced reliably.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of the App. The Developer's total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the App will not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold the Developer harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your misuse of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
11. Termination
You may stop using ScriptRoll at any time by deleting it from your devices. The Developer may update, suspend, or discontinue the App, in whole or in part, at any time. Sections of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination will survive (including ownership, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing-law provisions).
12. Changes to these Terms
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this URL with an updated effective date. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction in the State of Texas, except where Apple's App Store terms require otherwise.
